Founded in 2004, Carol Bethke’s passion for interior design and attention to detail quickly established Distinctive Interiors as a well-respected design firm in the Boulder and Denver metro areas. We specialize in custom home design, commercial interiors and remodels.

We live in a basic 1970 tri-level home. Our kitchen was very small and outdated, as was our dining room. We knew we wanted to knock out the wall between the two rooms and enlarge the kitchen. That's about ALL we knew. We had no idea where to begin!!
Carol was able to show us 3D computer images of several of her designs. WOW!! We were no longer left to imagine what it would look like. It was all right there!
Details, details, details... it could have been paralyzing without Carol's help! With her experience (she is always one step ahead of "what's in") and outstanding artistic eye she designed a kitchen that far exceeded our expectations. And we stayed in budget! I feel like it could be featured in "House Beautiful"! My husband and I never imagined we'd have anything this nice. Needless to say, we are THRILLED!!
She also designed my hair salon. She took an empty room and created a stylish, comfortable work space with the most peaceful atmosphere!!! Just what I was going for. All my clients love it!!!
